Members of the Perak Amanah Youth wing were among invitees at a breaking of fast ceremony hosted by the Perak Sultan at the Iskandariah Palace in Kuala Kangsar, last night.
The iftar was also attended by journalists as well as representatives from the corporate sector, NGOs, GLCs and youth bodies.
Amanah’s six-member delegation, all wearing the traditional Baju Melayu in the party’s trademark orange, was led by its state acting Youth chief, Mohd Fitri Asmuni.
Fitri thanked the Perak palace for the invitation, and said it was a recognition for the nine-month old party.
“This event was also an opportunity for us to bring Amanah’s image to the wide mix of guests,” he said, adding that the wing would continue the good ties with the palace.
