DBKL Watch, Do you know what you are talking about?
Just like in every long-winded post by DBKL Watch Facebook Page, they have once again produced multiple misleading statements and this time through their posting dated 7 December 2018 with the title “KHALID STRIKES BACK”.
It is bad enough to have false reporting, DBKL Watch however, seemed to stretch it a little too far by twisting and mixing so many non-related issues to one another in their continuous attack against the Minister of Federal Territories, YB Khalid Samad.
While we know it is always easier to talk and whine like what they do best in their posts, we noticed that DBKL Watch linking their
dissatisfactions on Taman Rimba Kiara to IPIC by saying “if the government can refuse payment to IPIC due to a one-sided and fraudulent contract, why does Khalid refuse to do the same for Taman Rimba Kiara”. This shows how ridiculous, simplistic and absolutely amusing they can get sometimes with their statements.
Is IPIC even an apt example? The no-introduction-needed debts that was incurred by scandal-plagued state investment fund 1MDB to the International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC), amounting to USD1.2 billion is in no comparison to the Taman Rimba Kiara issue, if we were to compare apple to apple! The IPIC scam is known to everyone and the paper trail is clear. We have strong grounds in arguing our case. Is this the case with Rimba Kiara?
Thus we wonder if their level of understanding is in line with the real facts, if they are even aware that in the case of Rimba Kiara the courts have decided that the Development Order held by the Developer is legal and legitimate!
We look forward to more postings from DBKL Watch to see how far they will go on this matter. As the saying goes, “A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer”.
