Serantau Muslim urges for help over the violation on muslim right
Serantau Muslim (SM) urges the international community to hear the call of the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, to stop Israel’s actions from continuously violating the Muslim’s worship sanctity.
Its chairman, Dr. Raja Ahmad Iskandar Raja Yaacob in a statement today expressed regret over the violence used by the Israeli police against Palestinians who gathered outside of the Bab al-Asbat to perform prayers in al-Aqsa.
“SM believes that the Israeli police had also banned the azan and closed the door of the mosque so that Muslims could not enter to perform prayers.
“It was learned that the Israeli police raided Al-Aqsa and attacked several religious leaders.
“Reportedly, among those were attacked including the Director of al-Aqsa, Omar Kiswani and the Highest Judge of Baitulmuqaddis religious court.
“SM condemns the rude action of the Israeli police who closed all the entrance to Al-Aqsa and thus obstructing the liberty of Muslims to perform prayers at the sanctuary of the Muslims themselves,” he said.
In the incident that raised the Muslim anger, 10 Palestinians were reportedly injured.
He questioned where was the United Nations (UN) when religious rights were violated.
Where are the International Human Body Rights when the religious right is denied? Such action is unacceptable as it threatens the safety of Muslims and violates human rights.
SM added that UN World dominated bodies and the UN Security Council should use their powers to restore the peace and the rights of the Palestinians from the Israeli colony.
